Lysine sulphate is brown or light brown granules with no peculiar smell. Its performance is usually relatively stable because of its high melting point. lysine sulphate 70 feed grade is high-density dust-free fluid particles. It contains 55% pure lysine, about 70% lysine sulfate and more than 15% other amino acids, which can provide adequate and balanced nutrition for animals. As an L-lysine-based mixture produced by fermentation it is more accurate to refer to it as L-lysine sulfate and its fermentation by-products according to its composition.

L-Lysine is the most used amino acid in animal feed. A balanced diet supplemented with lysine and other essential amino acids plays an important role in improving animal health and performance and reducing nitrogen emissions. Lysine currently used in the feed industry has two forms: L-lysine hydrochloride and L-lysine sulfate.

L-Lysine sulfate usually uses cornstarch milk or molasses as raw materials, and uses Corynebacterium glutamicum and other lysine-producing strains to carry out aerobic fermentation. After completion, the bacteria in the culture solution are treated with sulfuric acid and heated, and then dried to make granules. L-Lysine sulphate is a kind of mixture, besides lysine, it also contains more than 10% of other amino acids to interact with microbial cells, trace elements and bacterial proteins.

Nutritional value of L-lysine sulfate for animal

  • It can supplement the lack of lysine in animals, improve the balance of feed amino acids, improve the nutritional value of grain feed, and increase the conversion rate of energy feed.
  • Improve animal immunity, reduce the protein content of animal diets, configure low-protein diets, and save feed protein resources.
  • Lysine plays an important role in regulating the metabolic balance in animals, improving the absorption of grain protein in the body, improving dietary nutrition, and promoting growth and development.
  • As an amino acid, it can help convert some unsaturated fatty acids into energy and also helps lower cholesterol levels.
  • Together with other nutrients, it can form collagen, which plays an important role in connective tissue, bones and muscles, tendons and articular cartilage.
  • According to animal experiments, L-lysine sulphate feed can significantly reduce the incidence of syndrome after brain injury on the basis of the effective main ingredient of mild brain injury. At the same time, it can reduce the occurrence rate of neurological and mental symptoms in the recovery period, reduce the mortality rate of severe brain injury, and reduce the degree of cerebral edema in moderate brain injury.

Advantages of L lysine sulphate over L lysine HCL

    • 1kg of lysine sulfate provides the same amount of lysine as 1kg of lysine hydrochloride. But L-lysine sulfate also contains other amino acids, bacterial proteins and sulfate ions. Therefore, when using L-lysine sulfate, other nutrients are additionally provided, and sulfate ions may also affect the utilization efficiency of lysine.
    • The biological potency of lysine sulfate relative to lysine hydrochloride is close to 100% regardless of production performance, physiological and biochemical or generation indicators. Therefore, as long as the same content of lysine can be provided in production, the effect of using these two products is the same. We can also supply L lysine HCL.
    • When used in aquatic animal feed, the effect of L-lysine sulphate is significantly better than that of lysine hydrochloride. It may be related to the large dissolution and loss of lysine hydrochloride in water, the rapid absorption and the reduced utilization rate.
